The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro presented the seventh Business Environment Report results for 2021 and 2022. The report is a fundamental analysis of various sectors of the economy in Montenegro.

This year’s AmCham Report is a fundamental analysis of various sectors of the economy in Montenegro, with numerous recommendations made by member companies, 49 of which employ over 5700 people and have invested more than an impressive 1.75 billion euros in Montenegro since the beginning of operations.

The AmCham says the government’s priorities must be a systematic approach to curbing the grey economy, reducing the gap between employers’ needs and labor market supply through the modernization of educational programs, creating an ecosystem that supports the concept of lifelong learning, recognizing the potential of the ICT sector as a catalyst for the Montenegrin economy; a predictable and competitive tax policy.
